بمتاسبة اليوم العالمي لحماية المستهلك الذى يصادف 15 مارس من كل عام اطلق منتدى المستهلك الموريتانى صباح اليوم 15 مارس2023 من قاعة الاجتماعات فى بلدية تفرغ زين اسبوعا للتوعية و التحسيس حول حقوق المستهلك الموريتانى وقد اشرف على الانطلاقة مدير حماية المستهلك و قمع الغش السيد المصطفى ولد اعلى بحضور عمدة تفرغ زين السيد الطالب ولد المحجوب  وممثلة عن سلطة تنظيم الاتصالات وعددا من المدعوين 
بدا الحفل بكلمة المنتدى القاها الامين العام الخليل خيرى ابرز فيها السياق العام للتخليد هذا العام مستعرضا استمرار بعض التحديات مثل ارتفاع الاسعار و المضاربات داعيا فى ختام كلمته السلطات و قادة الراى العام من علماء و ائمة واعلاميين و مجتمع مدنى الى تضافر الجهود من اجل تثقيف المستهلك و توعيته والدفاع عن مصالحه.
وفى كلمته بالمناسبة ابرر مدير حماية سياق تخليد اليوم العالمى للمستهلك مبرزا جهود و زارته فى هذا المجال واشاد بدور منظمات المجتمع المدنى وخاصة منتدى المستهلك فى الدفاع عن مصالح المستهلكين 
من جانبه اشاد عمدة تفرغ زينة بمبادرة المنتدى مبرزا اهمية التعبئة والتحسيس مشيرا الى جهود بلديته فى هذا الميدان محذرا من المسلكيات الضارة مؤكدا عزمه على انشاء مختبر بلدي للحاجة الماسةله
بعد ذلك توالت العروض العلمية بعرض بعنوان دور العلماء والائمة فى حماية المستهلك قدمه الامام اباه بداه ابرز فيه الاحكام الشرعية المتعلقة بالموضوع داعيا الجميع الى استنهاض المسؤؤلية الشرعية سواء الجهات الحكومية و التجار و الموردين محذر ا من الغش و الاحتكار وغيرها من المسلكيات الضارة داعيا الوزارة المعنية الى تنظيم دورات تكوين شرعية للتجار و الموردين
بعد ذلك قدم الدكتور لكويرى الهيبة الاكرع رئيس اللجنة العلمية للمنتدى عرضا حول التحديات التى تواجه المستهلك فى الاغذية و المياه و المحيط   داعيا الى تضافر الحهود لحماية المستهلك
من جانبه تناول الاستاذ محمد المامي مولاي اعلى حقوق المستهلك فى مجال جودة الخدمات فى الاتصالات والبنوك والتامين مستعرضا القصور فى جودة هذه الخدمات التى يعانى منها المستهلك الموريتانى 
واختتم الافتتاح بمداخلات قيمة من المدعوين والحضور
